I am aware that you spent the summer of 2009 with your Nebraskan boyfriend, Alex. My intention of this comment is to inform you of the possible consequences of your actions. This not only concerns you, but also concerns him.

For Nebraska law the age of consent is seventeen. The legal age is nineteen. If you had sex during your visit before you turned seventeen, your boyfriend may have violated not only state law but federal law as well. These are considered felonies.
